The 29-hour battery life is measured at 50% volume with RGB lighting off — enabling the LIGHTSYNC RGB reduces battery to approximately 20 hours, still substantially longer than competing wireless headsets. Does the G733 work on PS4 and PS5?

Yes for basic audio and microphone — connect the LIGHTSPEED USB dongle to a USB port on the PS4 or PS5 and the headset operates for game audio and chat. On PS4 however, Blue VO!CE mic filters, DTS Headphone:X 2.0 surround, and LIGHTSYNC RGB customisation are not available — those features require G HUB software on a PC. On PS5, the console’s own 3D audio settings work with the headset. The G733 does not support Xbox wireless and is not compatible with Xbox consoles.

Does the battery really last 29 hours?

Logitech’s 29-hour figure is measured at 50% volume with RGB lighting switched off. With the LIGHTSYNC RGB lighting enabled at default brightness, battery drops to approximately 20 hours.
