Yes — the 60fps uncompressed stream needs USB 3.1 bandwidth, so the fixed cable is USB-C. An adapter to USB-A is not supported for full performance.
Is 60fps worth it over a 30fps webcam?
For streaming and content, clearly: motion smoothness is the most visible quality difference on a facecam. For plain video calls, less so.
How does vertical video work?
