The Sony SRS-XB13 Bluetooth Portable Speaker Black — Sony EXTRA BASS in a speaker that fits in your pocket. IP67 waterproof, 16 hours battery, USB-C charging, and a multiway strap so you can hang it anywhere. The last portable speaker you’ll need for everyday use.
- ✓ Sony EXTRA BASS — passive radiator + full-range driver for punchy low-end
- ✓ IP67 waterproof & dustproof — pool, beach, rain, no problem
- ✓ 16 hours battery · USB-C charging — lasts all day, charges fast
- ✓ Multiway strap — hang from backpack, wrist, parasol or belt loop
The Sony SRS-XB13 Bluetooth Portable Speaker Black proves that good things come in small packages. Pocket-sized, IP67-rated, and powered by Sony’s EXTRA BASS system with a passive radiator, this compact Bluetooth speaker delivers a sound that is disproportionately large for its dimensions. Take it to the pool, the park, the shower, or the office. With 16 hours of battery and USB-C charging, it keeps up with you all day.
Sound
Sony EXTRA BASS + Passive Radiator
A passive radiator works alongside the full-range driver to reinforce low frequencies that a speaker this small would normally struggle to reproduce. The result is bass you can actually feel rather than just hear — warm, present and controlled for a speaker of this size. Sony’s Sound Diffusion Processor spreads the audio outward for a wider perceived soundstage.
Durability
IP67 — Fully Waterproof & Dustproof
IP67 means the XB13 can be submerged in up to 1 metre of water for up to 30 minutes — far beyond what splashes, rain or poolside use requires. Sony also added UV coating to the exterior for extra resistance to sun exposure. Take it to the beach, use it in the shower, leave it out in the rain. It handles all of it.
Portability
16 Hours · USB-C · Multiway Strap
16 hours of playback on a single charge — enough for a full day at the park or a weekend camping trip without needing a top-up. USB-C charging means you can use the same cable as your phone. The multiway strap clips to backpacks, hangs from belt loops, wrists or parasols. The downward-facing speaker projects sound towards where you are, not straight up.
