HyperCharge is Xiaomi’s high-power charging system, and reaching full speed needs the matching charger and a 6A cable together — exactly what this combo includes. It suits Xiaomi, Redmi and POCO phones that support 67W HyperCharge, such as the Redmi Note Pro series, POCO X Pro models and many Xiaomi phones. Phones rated for lower speeds charge at their own maximum, so it is also a safe upgrade for older Xiaomi models. Output steps from 5V/3A up to 67W, and the charger and phone agree the level automatically. Keep the supplied cable for HyperCharge — ordinary USB cables cannot carry 6A and will charge more slowly.

A smart recognition chip identifies the connected device and supplies suitable power, so the charger is not limited to Xiaomi phones: other Android phones, iPhones with a USB-A to USB-C or Lightning cable, tablets and accessories charge at their standard fast-charging rates. Because the port is USB-A, use the supplied USB-A to USB-C cable or another USB-A cable; there is no USB-C output socket on the adapter. Multiple safety protections — including overvoltage, overcurrent and over-temperature protection — are built in.

This is the European version of the charger, with a two-pin EU plug. It does not fit a UK three-pin socket directly — use an inexpensive EU-to-UK travel adapter and it works normally. The adapter accepts 100–240V, so it works worldwide with the right plug adapter, and its compact 49.3 × 73 × 28 mm body slips easily into a bag. The set includes the adapter and Xiaomi’s 6A USB-A to USB-C cable, about 1 metre long.
