Huawei 6A Charger Cable 66W SuperCharge Type-C Cable

6A rated

The 66W carrier

SuperCharge’s trick is high current at low voltage — which lives or dies on cable gauge. 6A copper is the whole point of this part.

Genuine

Handshake intact

Huawei’s charging negotiation checks the chain; the genuine cable keeps SuperCharge engaged where lookalikes drop to standard.

Universal

Still a USB-C cable

On any other device it’s simply a sturdy USB-C lead — overbuilt is the good direction.

Right choice if you…

✔ Run a Huawei/Honor SuperCharge phone — this is its artery
✔ Pair with the 88W car charger or a 66W brick
✔ Replace the boxed cable like-for-like
✔ Want a cable that never bottlenecks a phone

Consider something else if…

✖ No Huawei in the house — any good 3A lead serves ordinary phones
✖ Laptop PD duty — different spec (e-marked PD leads)
✖ You need 2m — this is the standard length

Frequently Asked Questions

Why does the amp rating matter so much?

SuperCharge runs high current; a 3A cable physically cannot carry 66W at Huawei’s voltages — the phone detects it and slows down.

Will it work with my Samsung/Pixel?

As a quality USB-C lead, yes — those brands fast-charge over PD/PPS instead, which it also carries.

How do I know SuperCharge is active?

The lock screen says SuperCharge with the multi-bolt icon — if it says plain charging, a link in the chain is generic.

Is thicker cable worse to carry?

Slightly stiffer, meaningfully tougher — the trade this part exists to make.
