The Smart Clear View Cover wraps the Galaxy S21 Ultra entirely — a flip cover protects the screen from the front and a precisely fitted rear shell covers the back and camera module. The cover snaps shut magnetically and the phone can be operated through the transparent front panel for calls, notifications and basic controls without opening the case. The S Pen holder is built into the interior of the case: a dedicated slot on the inside face of the flip cover holds the S Pen in place when the case is closed, keeping it immediately accessible when the cover is opened. Unlike the Galaxy Note series, the S21 Ultra has no internal silo for the S Pen — this case is the designed solution for carrying the pen with the phone securely. The rear shell fits precisely to the S21 Ultra’s camera module — one of the most prominent camera arrangements on any smartphone — without obstructing the lenses. The outer surface of the case is treated with an antimicrobial coating containing Zinc Pyrithione, which Samsung states inhibits the growth of certain bacteria on the case surface. The case is compatible with wireless charging through the rear shell.

The S Pen included with this bundle is Samsung’s standard EMR (Electromagnetic Resonance) stylus matched to the Galaxy S21 Ultra’s display. EMR technology means the pen draws its operating power from the resonance field emitted by the phone’s digitiser — there is no internal battery, no charging required, and no Bluetooth. The pen is functional immediately at all times, without any charge management. The 0.7mm tip provides a precise, fine writing point that closely matches a ballpoint pen in feel and placement accuracy, and is practical for handwriting, annotation of documents and detailed illustration. 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity means that writing and drawing apps distinguish 4096 distinct grades of pen-to-screen pressure — from a hairline at minimal pressure to a bold stroke at full pressure — giving natural, continuous line weight variation. Tilt detection is also supported: compatible apps respond to the pen’s angle, allowing brush and calligraphy tools to simulate the behaviour of real nibs and flat brushes. Replacement tips are user-replaceable. Note: this S Pen does not include Bluetooth functionality — Air Actions (remote camera shutter, app launch) are not available on this pen.

Why does this come in two separate boxes — is everything included?

Yes, everything is included. Samsung packaged this bundle (EF-ZG99P) as two individual retail products — the Smart Clear View Cover in one sealed box and the S Pen in a separate sealed box. This is the original Samsung retail format, not a repackaged or combined aftermarket bundle. Both items are brand new, unopened, and genuine Samsung. You receive both boxes.

Does the S Pen have Bluetooth / Air Actions?

No. The S Pen included in this bundle is an EMR (Electromagnetic Resonance) stylus only — it supports writing and drawing on the S21 Ultra screen with 4096 pressure levels, but it does not have Bluetooth and does not support Air Actions (remote camera shutter, app control). It requires no charging or battery. If you need Bluetooth Air Actions, the Samsung S Pen Pro is a separate product that supports Bluetooth but is not included here.

Will this case fit the Galaxy S21, S21+ or S22 Ultra?

No. The EF-ZG99P is designed exclusively for the Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G (SM-G998). It will not fit the S21 (6.2-inch), S21+ (6.7-inch) or any S22/S23/S24 model. The S22 Ultra, S23 Ultra and S24 Ultra have a built-in S Pen silo and do not need a case with an S Pen holder.

Can I charge my S21 Ultra wirelessly with the case on?

Yes. The Smart Clear View Cover’s rear shell is compatible with wireless charging — place the phone on a Qi or Samsung Fast Wireless Charging pad with the case on and charging proceeds normally.

What does the antimicrobial coating do?

The case exterior is treated with Zinc Pyrithione, an antimicrobial agent that Samsung states inhibits the growth of certain bacteria on the case surface. It does not protect against viruses (including Covid-19) and does not eliminate all bacteria. The treatment is applied to the outside of the case only.
