150MB/s — 15x Faster Than USB 2.0
USB 3.0 with up to 150MB/s read speed is a significant practical difference to the 10–12MB/s of older USB 2.0 drives. At 150MB/s, a 4GB file transfers in around 27 seconds. At USB 2.0 speeds the same transfer takes over 5 minutes. For anyone who regularly moves large amounts of data — photo libraries, video files, software backups — the speed difference makes the Flair the obvious choice over cheaper, slower alternatives. The Flair uses a full aluminium housing with a sliding retractable connector — slide to expose the USB-A connector, slide back to protect it. No cap to track, no flimsy plastic hinge to crack. The aluminium body is substantially more durable than standard plastic flash drives and handles everyday pocket and bag carry without cosmetic wear. At 42.4mm long, it’s compact enough to stay plugged into a laptop without protruding awkwardly.
Security
Password Protection Included
SanDisk SecureAccess software creates a password-protected, AES-128 encrypted vault on the drive for private files. The rest of the drive remains accessible as standard storage.
