The full phone, the “storage almost full” warning, the video that will not send — the SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive Go 512GB exists for exactly that moment. Flip the swivel cover one way and the USB-C connector plugs straight into your phone or tablet; move the files across, flip the cover the other way, and the USB-A end plugs into any computer made in the last two decades. No cables, no cloud subscriptions, no waiting for uploads. USB 3.2 Gen 1 keeps transfers at up to 400 MB/s, the free SanDisk Memory Zone app can back your phone up automatically every time you plug in, and the keyring hole means the drive lives with your keys instead of a drawer. SanDisk has since discontinued this much-loved line — this is brand new, sealed retail stock, dispatched from our UK warehouse while it lasts.

Two Connectors, One Stick

Phone to Computer, No Cables

A USB-C connector on one end and USB-A on the other means the Dual Drive Go speaks to both halves of your life: the USB-C phone or tablet in your pocket, and the USB-A laptops, desktops, TVs and car stereos everywhere else. Offload holiday photos from the phone at the airport, hand the same stick to someone with a ten-year-old laptop, plug it into the TV for a film — one drive covers all of it, with no adapters and no pairing.

USB 3.2 Gen 1 Speed

Up to 400 MB/s Reads

Moving a phone full of photos over Bluetooth or cloud upload takes an evening; over USB 3.2 Gen 1 it takes minutes. Read speeds up to 400 MB/s make offloads and transfers quick in both directions, and the free SanDisk Memory Zone app for Android turns the plug-in moment into an automatic backup — photos, videos, documents and contacts copied across without you thinking about it.

Built for a Keyring

Swivel Cover, Go Anywhere

The integrated swivel cover protects whichever connector you are not using — no caps to lose — and the reinforced keyring hole means the drive travels with your keys. At 6.5 grams it disappears in a pocket. iPhone 15 and newer (USB-C) owners can browse the drive through the Apple Files app; Android users get the full Memory Zone experience.

Right choice if you…

✔ Keep running out of phone storage and want a no-cloud fix
✔ Move files between USB-C devices and older USB-A computers
✔ Want automatic phone backups every time you plug in
✔ Carry your storage on a keyring rather than in a drawer
✔ Want the classic Go line while sealed stock lasts

Look elsewhere if you…

✖ Want an all-metal build — see the Ultra Dual Drive Luxe, also at maibo
✖ Need hardware encryption or password protection
✖ Want to record video directly to the drive from an iPhone
