The PC inner frame provides the structural rigidity that distributes drop impact forces around the phone’s perimeter rather than concentrating them at the point of impact, which is the primary mechanism of drop protection in a slim case. Without the rigid inner frame, a pure silicone case would deform and allow the impact to reach the phone body directly. The silicone outer layer provides the tactile quality and grip that makes the case pleasant to hold — silicone’s rubber-like coefficient of friction is substantially higher than bare glass or plastic, reducing the likelihood of the phone sliding off surfaces. The matte finish on the silicone surface reduces the oil smudging and fingerprinting that glossy finishes show prominently. Samsung designs the EF-PS938 using the exact S25 Ultra engineering drawings, with the case cutouts confirmed against the production device before release. Will this case fit the Galaxy S25 or S25+?

No — the EF-PS938 is designed exclusively for the Galaxy S25 Ultra (SM-S938). The S25 Ultra has different dimensions and a unique S Pen silo compared to the S25 and S25+. The S25 uses EF-PS931 and the S25+ uses EF-PS936. Always verify the model number before purchasing a Samsung official case.

Does the S Pen still work normally with the case on?

Yes — the EF-PS938 has a precision cutout for the S25 Ultra’s S Pen slot and ejector mechanism. The S Pen can be inserted and ejected normally with the case fitted. Samsung tests S Pen insertion, ejection and magnetic reseating with the official case as part of its accessory certification process.

Can I use Samsung Pay and wireless charging with this case?

Yes to both. Wireless charging works through the case back on any Qi pad. Samsung Pay uses the NFC and MST sensors in the S25 Ultra — the silicone case does not block either. NFC contactless payments function normally with the case fitted.
