The Audio-Technica AT645L solves that without replacing your headphone cable: plug your headphones into the 3.5mm socket at one end and the L-shaped 3.5mm plug into your source at the other, and you gain an extra 3 metres.
The L-shaped plug sits flat against laptops, phones and amplifier panels, reducing strain on the socket. It is a standard stereo cable, so it is ideal for music and TV listening; headset microphones and in-line remotes that need a 4-pole connection are not passed through. This unit is brand new and unused, supplied in bulk packaging — the cable only, without the original Audio-Technica retail pack.
