What is the difference between the CX300 II and CX400 II?

Same precision in-ear platform and tuning family; the CX400 II adds an inline single-button remote with microphone. If you only listen, the CX300 II does the job for less.

How effective is the noise isolation?

It is passive isolation from the sealed tip — with the right size fitted it meaningfully quiets buses, trains and open offices. It will not cancel deep rumble like powered ANC, but it never needs charging and adds no hiss.

Will they work with a phone without a headphone jack?
