Why Warp Charge Stays Cool at 65W

Conventional fast charging protocols — Qualcomm Quick Charge and most USB PD implementations — deliver high voltage (9V, 12V or 20V) to the phone, then use a DC-DC converter inside the handset to step it down to the battery’s voltage (typically 3.7–4.4V). This conversion generates heat inside the phone and requires the processor to manage the charging loop, which is why many phones throttle performance or limit charging speed when the handset is under load. OnePlus’s Direct Charge (also called Warp Charge) inverts this architecture: the voltage conversion happens inside the charger, not the phone. The adapter delivers current directly at close to battery voltage but at very high amperage — 6.5A at 10V for Warp Charge 65. This is the EU plug variant of the OnePlus Warp Charge 65 adapter — it has a Type C/F (Schuko-compatible) plug for use in standard European two-pin wall sockets found across continental Europe, including Germany, France, Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, Belgium and most of the EU. The universal 100–240V AC input (50/60Hz) means the adapter functions on any mains supply globally — for UK use, a Type C to Type G (UK three-pin) travel plug adapter allows the EU charger to be used in British sockets without any performance reduction. The adapter is not a UK plug unit and will not physically fit UK sockets without a travel adapter. The Warp Charge 65 protocol requires both a compatible OnePlus device and the genuine Warp-rated cable included in this set — third-party USB-C cables are not rated for 6.5A continuous current and will limit charging to standard USB PD speeds (typically 18W or 27W depending on the cable’s power rating).

Will this charge my OnePlus 9 Pro or OnePlus 10 Pro at 65W?

The OnePlus 9 Pro supports Warp Charge 65T and the 10 Pro supports 80W SUPERVOOC. The Warp Charge 65 adapter will charge both, but at 65W — not the device’s maximum speed for the 10 Pro (which requires an 80W adapter).
